NZTrio & the next generation: the sound of strings live

A 3 day annual music intensive that brings string instrument students from diverse backgrounds and stages in their musical journey together with NZTrio and University of Auckland tutors collaborative workshops and rehearsals, culminating in a public gala concert in the Great Hall of Kāhui St David’s.

This special event brings together professional musicians and emerging talent from the University of Auckland School of Creative Arts and Industries, Sistema Aotearoa, Tironui Music Trust, Avondale College, and Northland, showcasing collaboration across generations and building pride, and a sense of belonging.
